After an impressive premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala-led Kill is all set to release in India soon. With less than a month left until India’s most violent film releases in theatres, the makers have released the film’s first song. Titled Kill (Kaawaa Kaawaa), the track is an electrifying Punjabi track with a fusion of pop.

Kill first song ‘Kaawaa Kaawaa’ out

The just-released track is made of several stills of Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala from the movie. The song is composed and written by Shashwat Sachdev, with vocals lent by Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Sanj V and Shashwat Sachdev. PS: This track from the awaited action thriller is only a promotional property and isn’t part of the actual film.

Talking about Kaawaa Kaawaa, the Punjabi pop track features debutant Lakshya packing violence-filled punches in an intense fight sequence with the many goons on the moving train. The song follows army commando Amrit (Lakshya) as he races against time aboard a New Delhi-bound train with his partner, Tulika (Tanya Maniktala). As the journey unfolds, he faces unexpected challenges.

‘Kaawaa Kawaa’ sets the perfect tone with its peppy beats and lyrics, such as, “Tere layi Ladd jaana jagg saara, Tere layi har sitam nu, har zulam seene pe lejavan”.
